The greatest story ever told gets a heartwarming update. This imaginative retelling of Christ's birth is seen through the eyes of three quails who are befriended by Mary and are swept along on the journey of their lives.

The DVD is the brainchild of London-based Christian writer Steve Legg. "At a school nativity play, I heard a little boy ask his teacher 'why Mary and Joseph named their little baby after a swear word'. That really hit me; there is a whole generation of children who do not know the true meaning of Christmas and have no idea who Jesus is." Legg and a British charity worked together to create this animated tale and sent free copies to six million school children across England.

The Quails' First Christmas has since become a best-loved seasonal staple in the UK and is now being introduced to American audiences exclusively thru this DVD.
